69 Corvette, 4Spd, Nice paint, Runs great. Looks sharp! You are looking at a sweet 1969 Corvette with a custom 80's Make Shark style body kit. The car is an original 4 speed car. This is a great looking Vette as you can see, and I do love all original Vettes, but this thing looks really cool too! The car runs and drives well, I drove it around 60 miles on the freeway the other day and it did fine. However, it will need some TLC to make it perfect, but what do you want for $8800 it's a 69 Vette. Exterior wise, the paint looks good and has a deep shine. The paint was nicely done, not new, but still looks very good for a driver, has a few minor nics and chips from normal use. The body has a few small stress cracks here and there as well, nothing major. The hood comes straight off the body with 4 Zerk fittings. The body kit to me looks like a Mako Shark style kit, it looks good on the car. The t-tops are in great shape, and all the glass is in good shape too. Overall I would rate condition about a 7 to 7.5 of 10. The interior is in fair shape overall. The front seats are actually the original 69 Corvette seats that came with the car with outside bolster added, they were nicely redone and are comfortable. The dash and gauges and console are what they are, fair shape I would say. None of the gauges is hooked up, the ignition is now electronic so needless to say the original tach doesn't work. It will need TLC on the wiring, perhaps a new harness to simplify things. The carpet is in fair shape and the floor mats look almost new. The door panels are hanging in there, door pulls are new, and I have a new set of chrome leavers to be installed. The shift boot is leather and is new. The interior is about a 5. Mechanically, the car runs and drives fairly well, I drove it on the freeway last week and went about 60 miles with it, not a problem. The transmission shifts well, the clutch is starting to slip however, still very drivable as is. The engine is believe is a NOM block 350, It has a newer alternator, brand new starter, electronic ignition and many other newer parts. The brake calipers are all new, shoes and some lines were replaced. The car steers well and doesn't drift. None of the lights are working, I think they just need to be connected from what I can see. It will need some TLC, plan on towing or shipping it home, it is not currently registered but I have the clean title in hand. Colors from the trim plate. 41,121 miles. March 15, 2008. |
